Bio

Humphrey is a Lecturer and former Postgraduate Coordinator in the Department of Arts, Languages and Literary Studies at the University of Zambia. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of the Western Cape (South Africa), an MA in Linguistics Science from the University of Zambia, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Theory of Literature from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and a distinction-classified Bachelor of Arts (with Education) degree from the University of Zambia. He has more than 8 years of experience in teaching, research, data analysis, and evaluation. His research interests traverse the epistemological and ontological landscapes of both theoretical and applied linguistics, with a bias towards the intercourse of forensic linguistics, functional grammar, African languages, and literature.
